Frequently Asked Questions & Terms Of Business
WHERE ARE THE GROUP SESSIONS LOCATED?
Our sessions are located at Southpine Sports Complex, 620 Southpine Rd, Brendale. We train from the Hornets Club, Brendale fields (not to be confused with their main training fields in Aspley).
To get there, enter the Sports Complex from Southpine Rd just next to the Vet with the big dinosaur out front – can’t miss that! Travel down the road, through the roundabout and continue on until you get to the AFL sporting fields, located on your right hand side. Hornets Club is the last building on the right. You will find plenty of parking outside the building. You will find us under the roof near the front, or around the back near the grass.
WHAT DO I BRING?
Please bring an exercise mat, water bottle, a towel and of course sun protection including a hat and sunscreen as we are training outdoors in the shade. If you’re boxing, boxing inners will be required to be worn inside the gloves. These can be purchased from places like Kmart, Hart Sport. You can also grab a pair of the cotton dusting gloves from the cleaning isle of your supermarket and these do the trick for just a couple of dollars.
DO I NEED TO BOOK IN?
It’s not essential to book in to our sessions, but we do encourage our members to interact with us in our Member Facebook Group via our Daily Post. This helps us with session planning and any modifications that may be needed and it also helps you to stay accountable to your workouts each week. When you become a member, you will be joined to this group.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?
We encourage our members to establish a training routine that works for them, but we also understand that things come up and life is busy. The training timetable is flexible, so if today doesn’t work, come tonight or come tomorrow. Our aim is for you to be consistent and to make it work for you. As a member, you have access to our exclusive Members Lounge so if you can’t get to a face to face session, or would like to do some exercise from home, we’ve got you covered with online video workouts that you can follow from wherever you are. Please note membership fees are billed weekly irrespective of member attendance.
I'M GOING ON HOLIDAY OR NEED TO HIT PAUSE
That’s no problem. Our Trainers take holidays too and we think this is an important part of a Healthy Happy routine.
If you need to pause your membership please let Amanda know at least 7 days before you need to suspend your membership in writing to amanda@intofitness.com.au. Suspension is for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 1 month before access to our member privileges would cease.
WHAT IF A SESSION IS CANCELLED?
This is very rare, but if it happened, you would be notified on our Member Facebook Group. So it’s important to make sure you are receiving Notifications for All Posts so that you never miss an update. You set this up via the Notifications section of the Facebook Group – if you’re not sure how to do this just ask and we are here to help.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Given that most of our members are Mums most of our sessions are Child Friendly. What does this mean? You can bring your children along under your supervision for them to enjoy some active playtime while you workout, or simply be close by watching all of your moves and even copying some too. Please note, children are not insured to participate in our exercise program and therefore, allowing them to participate and be around or training session is at your own risk.
Of course, if you have the opportunity to do some sessions without your children, we absolutely encourage this. When you get to workout without the kids, you will be able to enjoy the benefit of switching off your attention on them for a little while and bring the focus solely on you and this is absolutely priceless!
Whatever you need to do to get your workout in, know that you are have our full support and we will do what we can to make it easier for you.
FEE CHANGES
IntoFitness reserves the right to adjust fees from time to time. Any increase to fees will be notified in writing at least 7 days in advance of any changes occurring.
DIRECT DEBIT TERMS
– Funds are billed in advance of your weekly sessions from your nominated account at a weekly interval
– Cleared funds must be available at the time of debit
– Should a payment dishonour your fees must be brought up to date for membership to continue
– A minimum 7 days notice in writing before your debit is drawn is required to suspend membership, for a minimum duration of 1 week (7 days)
– A minimum 7 days notice in writing before your debit is drawn is required to cancel membership
– Additional terms and conditions may apply as agreed with the Direct Debit provider, as per the applicable agreement entered into.
REFUNDS
If there is anything you’re unhappy with, please come and speak with Amanda so we can come to an agreed solution.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
No classes on Public Holidays.
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
If you need time out over the school holidays, just make sure you let us know in writing by email at least 7 days in advance of requiring a membership suspension to amanda@intofitness.com.au.
Our Coaches are Mums too and so sometimes there may be a break in our timetable, or a change to our timetable so that we are able to balance work and family life over the school holiday period. You will be given notice of any changes and will have the option to suspend your membership if those changes don’t work for you.
WET WEATHER
We have full wet weather protection from our training ground at Southpine Sports Complex, so training would normally go ahead, unless dangerous storm conditions are anticipated.
