    Hi, my name is Amanda. I'll be your Coach during your upcoming Post Natal Return To Exercise Program with IntoFitness. I'm so excited to welcome you to the program and I'm really looking forward to working with you and your baby. Exercise is by far one of the best ways to build energy, to reduce stress, to elevate your mood, to build confidence and to help you reconnect with your body again and I know how much it helped me as a new Mum, and continues to do so throughout my parenting journey. The great thing is, you will be joined by other post natal women who are probably going through some of the same stuff as you, because lets face it, we all do, we just don't always talk about it. So the social support you receive will be a really important part of your experience with us too. Before we begin, your health and safety is really important to me and so lets go through some important questions about your general health and medical and your birthing experience too. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your baby soon.

    Social Media and Marketing are an important part of our ability to grow and to thrive as a business and community. It is common practice for trainers to take photos of our client training sessions and this is used on our social media, website and other marketing materials. This is an important part of helping people make an informed decision about getting started.
  • The Waiver

    I confirm that everything I have disclosed in this pre-screen questionnaire is true and correct. I will notify my trainer in writing at amanda@intofitness.com.au, should my health or circumstances change. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a doctor/medical practitioner prior to and regarding my participation in the fitness sessions and online training with IntoFitness and to receive prior approval to participate where necessary. Should medical clearance be requested, I acknowledge that I will not be able to commence training until this is provided. Any membership fees pre-paid by me will be refunded if medical clearance is unsuccessful upon providing the written advice from your doctor, or health care professional, within 7 days of obtaining the written advice and / or fees being paid. I acknowledge that commencing any exercise program is not without associated risks or hazards that may result in damage, loss, cost or expense. I fully understand all risks involved as a result of my participation in any exercise program and that any instruction or advice is followed at my own risk. I understand that the workouts provided may not be suitable for me and I will substitute or eliminate any exercise that is not suitable for my condition under the guidance of the trainer. I acknowledge that if I have any new medical condition arise or my condition worsens, I have a duty to disclose this before continuing with training, including the nature and extent of the illness or disability. In this situation, I understand that IntoFitness may request a written medical clearance before continuing with training. I understand IntoFitness and its associated parties is not medically qualified to provide me with medical advice concerning my health and fitness. I agree to stop any exercise immediately if I experience pain, shortness of breath or other physical responses indicating a low tolerance to the prescribed exercise. By signing this document I am acknowledging that I am personally responsible for my own safety and to the full extent permitted by law.

Frequently Asked Questions & Terms
WHERE ARE THE GROUP SESSIONS LOCATED?

All of our day sessions are located in Lemke Park, Frederick Street Albany Creek. Our evening sessions are held in Southpine Sports Complex, Southpine Rd Brendale, travel down to the lower fields and park outside the last building on the left side, at Hornets Football Club. We meet here at this building for our evening sessions. Some sessions are on the move around the track, some sessions are under the breezeway roof.

WHAT DO I BRING?

Please bring an exercise mat, water bottle, a towel, boxing inners if you’re boxing and of course sun protection including a hat and sunscreen as we are training outdoors in the shade. Boxing inners can be purchased from places like Kmart, Hart Sport, or just visit the cleaning isle of your supermarket and buy a pair of cotton dusting gloves and these will do the trick.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN?

It’s not essential to book in to our sessions, but we do encourage our members to interact with us in our Member Facebook Group via our Daily Post. This helps us with session planning and any modifications that may be needed and it also helps you to stay accountable to your workouts each week.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE IT?

Whilst we do encourage our members to establish a routine, we also understand that things come up and life is busy. So you’re not locked in to any particular session and it’s completely flexible when you attend to get the maximum value out of your membership. Membership fees are billed regardless of whether you show up or not and the onus is on you to make it work within your lifestyle.

I'M GOING ON HOLIDAY OR NEED TO HIT PAUSE

That’s no problem. Our Trainers take holidays too and we think this is an important part of a Healthy Happy routine.
If you need to pause your membership just tell us in writing by email at amanda@intofitness.com.au at least 7 days before you need to suspend. Suspension is for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 3 months before access to our member privileges would cease.

WHAT IF A SESSION IS CANCELLED?

This is very rare, but if it happened, you would be notified on our Member Facebook Group. So it’s important to make sure you are receiving Notifications for All Posts so that you never miss an update. You set this up via the Notifications section of the Facebook Group – if you’re not sure how to do this just ask and we are here to help.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Given that most of our members are Mums, or Dads and our Trainers are Mums too, most of our sessions are Child Friendly. What does this mean? You can bring your children along under your supervision and they can enjoy some active playtime in the park while you workout, or simply be close by watching all of your moves and even copying some too. Children are not insured to participate in our exercise program. Should you allow them to do this, it is at your own risk.

Of course, if you have the opportunity to do some sessions without your children, we absolutely encourage this. When you get to workout without the kids, you will be able to enjoy the benefit of switching off your attention on them for a little while and bring the focus on You.

Whatever you need to do to get your workout in, know that you are have our full support and we will do what we can to make it easier for you.

FEE CHANGES

IntoFitness reserves the right to adjust fees from time to time. Any increase to fees will be notified in writing in advance of changes occurring.

DIRECT DEBIT TERMS

– Funds are billed in advance of your sessions from your nominated account
– Cleared funds must be available at the time of debit
– Should a payment dishonour, a fee of $8 will be passed on from the collection agency to the customer and billed
at the next payment interval
– A minimum 1 week notice in writing before your debit is drawn is required to suspend membership
– A minimum 1 week notice in writing before your debit is drawn is required to cancel membership
– Additional terms and conditions may apply as agreed with the Direct Debit provider

REFUNDS

Refunds are not usually an issue in our biz because we make sure that our Members are super happy with our product and service. If there is anything you’re unhappy with, please come and speak with your Coach so that we can come to a solution.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

No training on Public Holidays.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

If you need time out over the school holidays, just make sure you let us know in writing by email at least 7 days in advance of requiring a membership suspension to amanda@intofitness.com.au. Our Coaches are Mums too and so there will be some changes to our timetable over the school holidays, but there will be plenty of options to keep you moving with us either face to face, or online as a Member Benefit.

WET WEATHER

Training sessions will take place where our evening sessions are located. Southpine Sports Complex, Southpine Rd, Brendale, down at the Hornets Building, lower fields, last building on the left side of road.
